If I didn't know better I would swear this is not resin, but I do know better. In fact it's from one of the new pendant molds. Shannon Egan with SquareEffects created this outstanding work of art.

i was wondering if some one can help, i know nothing about making pendant but i want to encase a baby starfish can anyone start me off on where and what to buy thanks sharon
Hi Sharon, First you want to make sure the starfish is completely dry. Any moisture will make your resin cloudy. You want to turn the starfish over and fill the underside cavity with resin fist and let cure. Then fill your mold, with the starfish in it, about a third full. Let the resin cure to a gel stage and pour you second layer and so on. I have a how to booklet on my web site that tells how to do this.
