Hi,
I just got an email from a fellow Obsessioner that Ian Clarke Coatings in the UK is now carrying EasyCast resin! I also understand that he takes PayPal. You can find his address, phone number and fax on the Resin Obsession International Distributors Page. http://stores.ebay.com/RESINOBSESSION?refid=store/International-Distributors-List.html or
http://www.clarke-coatings.co.uk/
I hope this helps.
I have a tip: Browsing I found where someone asked How to polish resin after they had sanded it. One of the answers involved denatured alcohol. Denatured alcohol does have a tendacy to amber your resin after a short amount of time. It is better to use sand paper increasing your grit then buff / polish with a cloth wheel loaded with polish for plastic.
Happy Casting
Cindy

Hi!
ReplyDeleteI was searching on the internet on getting the glossy finish back to my resin jewelry after sanding it and found your site. I saw that you have in one of your how-to videos, to dip back in the liquid resin but it doesn't really work for me. I just don't like the extra 'layer' after peeling off the tape at the back, and it's kind of difficult to get the resin evenly spread. I was trying metal polish (Brasso) and it turned out 'matte', not glossy. I was wondering if you have any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance.
I make resin jewllery but It is bacame sofr ,so how to make hard resin jewwllery.
